ordered a shark 2500 yesterday for my girlfriends birthday. she has the vvme 10s in a box I build for her on a lil 200w amp right now so I figured she would want a little more. it should come in tomorow or the next day so ill let you know.

onto my experience with audiopipe. ive had 6+ ap1500s, two of which I still have, and a 3k that fried due to the wires inside shorting on the case.

Im not neccessarily a fan boy but I recommen there amps, because I like many others have had good luck with them. two of my amps fried, two of my amps were replaced by audiopipe. granted it took 6+weeks, they did arive.

I do run amps other than ap, for instance my crescendo and my american bass that are going into my truck now.

little first test results from strapped ap1500s to a bc3500 both at 2ohm.

Voltage was 13.3 with aps, and a steady 13.8 with the nendo

output was very similar with almost no notable difference.

ap1500s rated at 3k at 2ohm strapped, bc3500 rated at 1900w at 2ohm.

just saying, that still isnt bad for what you can get for $200, and I will still buy shark/ap products. Not everybody has to be better than the next guy, so stop hating, they get the job done, and they leave my wallet fat.

For everyone's information: distorted bass will hurt your ears more than clean bass and a lot of noobs mistake that for "being louder".

No, it's not louder, that's the feeling of hearing damage from your Shark amp AudioPooping all over the place

In short: distortion is not good

price went up from 103 to 115, i bought the vvme 4 channel for $59, their 4 channel is the same as the apsm 4080 but more expensive than the vvme, i will use this for tweeters

ap shark and vme also make speakers,subs,wiring,4 channels but nobody is going out in droves buying that stuff and you know why cause you guys know its crap so why would the mono amps be any different,when was the last time anyone came on here and said my 4 channel shark amp sounded just as good as my sundown 4 channel,or that my ap subs are just as good as my dc audios for wayyyy less,you never have cause when it comes to mids and highs and subs a crappy amp and sub and speakers can be exposed,you can actually hear the qualty but i guess when it comes to your mono amps you guys cant tell the diffrence but remember its the same company

I know it's been a while since anyone posted on this thread but I was hoping to get some proof of someone who has actually clamped this amp at it's max rms clean power before clipping or distortion.

Recently installed one on 2 DD2508s.

Before that it was on 2 of the newest model alpine type r's (1000rms each). Did great in both setups. Has anyone else hear talk of a shark 3500 release???
