here is a question i need help with. i have been designing a system for a freind and we have been through multiple changes. the question is can you mount 4 subs in the same space on seperate plains. for example 2 on the face and 2 on the back of the box where the magnets are pointing at each other. i have seen boxes where they are on the side and front what is the difference and can this be done.

yea you can do that. i believe that's how a lot of bandpasses are done.

you will be fine if you have the rquired volume for the 4 of them....i have done it lot's of times...

here is my problem. i don't have the physical space to get a box of that size in the trunk. i think it will be enough room if it would only fit

If you do an isobarik setup it will cut your required enclosure volume in half.
