Shallow mount subs

My friend is looking for a shallow mount sub for his truck. He gave me 120 bucks and asked me to get him something.

He has a Dual amp 460W Max. Im thinking its rated around 250RMS @ 2 ohm. I am really not sure though.

What can you guys recommend.

Size? For $120 you can get Rockford, Kenwood etc. most of the Best Buy brands. E-bay has a ton listed.

i am thinking this would prob be his best bet.

What's his max depth? You can go shallow.. without having to go "shallow mount" if that makes sense. Something with a depth around ~6.. like an RSD.. which is what I did in my reg. cab F-150 a while back...

Ordered the Pioneer for 83. At the most shallow point we have about 5-6" and the MDF will be 3/4" so realistically about 3.5-4.5" mounting depth would be allowed

i built a box for 2 of those in a chevy silverado. not too bad. it was enough for this guy, mostly because he was a pure rock listener. they had a tough time going too low. i personally would rather do an 8 inch or 2, than a shallow mount.
