Don't get me wrong I like the Japanese unit better in terms of looks. But I have to say that the P9 does come close to it. It's just the black that makes the unit stand out a little more in the eyes of audiophiles.

The P9 is bascically the same principle as the ODR line except there are no amps in this line. It doesn't look clumsy, that Jensen link you posted looks very clumsy. And no, the P9 comes with a wireless infrared remote.

Eclipse 8053 is pretty sexy imo, not like some of these hu, but badass and 2 knobs ftw. I hate headunits with confusing amount of buttons and such, the eclipse nob remote is bad *** too.

Yes, The golden, champagne colored panasonic double din.

I heard that unit in a mazda protege with 3 sets of Kole (i think) components on a PG 6 channel amp, and HOLY HELL!!! Was really nice sounding.
