several runs of 0/1 or 0/2

i had 3 runs of 2/0 power and 2 runs of 2/0 ground in my crx.... ran through the hole in the firewall that was alreayd there....
Four runs of 1/0 total for me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Two for power and two for ground.

On my setup I have the power wire going from the battery down towards the frame, run along the whole frame, up through a hole I cut out in the floor where my power wire goes to a distro block and my ground is grounded on the frame and then to its oppropriate distro block.

Does your car have a ****** hump by chance??? There is an idea... (run it on the sides of the ****** hump and cut a whole in the trunk for the wires...)

That idea has merit. I could but a 3" piece of conduit I could run the 2/0 ( got it right this time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif )

Perhaps now it looks like I should:

do two runs of 2/0 from battery positive to each amp with a buss bar that has a 1/0 connection to the amp. ( I have seen pics, I believe this is how it is done)

and one 2/0 run per amp from battery negative and one run of 2/0 per amp to a frame ground yes it is a uni-body.

Just visit termpro and look at how most of them run the wires.
I think Carlton just posted some pics of his wire setup very nice buss bars also. I think its like 16 runs under his truck.

I have seen some of those pics with the buss bars. I haven't seen detailed pics of how they go from the buss bar to the amp.

We had 4 runs of 3/0 ran under the truck...didnt see a gain running 4 from the negative bettery terminal compared to straight from the frame.

Used 1/0 clips that streetwires makes to affix the wire

he has it ran through pvc to the bed..then distributed.

sexiest buss bars [/thread]

Right, but how I understand the buss bar to work is kinda like a distribution block. You have several runs of (say) 2/0 connected to this buss bar and then one small piece of 1/0 connecting the buss bar to the amp.
Is this correct?
imo, just run the largest dedicated run you can for each amp...distributing them at the rear kinda defeats the purpose to me.

ahh, I see. Are those commerically available or did he make it?
homemade..looks like 1"x2" bar..copper is really easy to tap...
