We offer complete testing for amplifiers with power outputs up to 2000W. Please indicate on the form which measurements you would like performed (such as power output at a specific input voltage, distortion, current draw and signal to noise ratio). This service also includes verification of previous repairs on an amplifier, and comes with a certificate indicating the results of the tests. We usually complete the testing and measurement the same business day as the amp is recieved.

since when do I read;)

I don't see what the big deal about them being tested @ US Amps is. Not many people are going to be using them @ 17-18v anyways.

I dont care about the voltage that much.....we are only worried about the test being biased....which, Flakko says wont happen, but what dumbass company would do a test and then say their amp lost??

Ok, I've figured something out where I'd be able to test them in different setups that I can most likely get access to. I'll have to get ahold of some people and it may take a little time due to it being the holiday season and such, but I'm gonna try and do this on my own... I can get ahold of everything I need to do the tests.

haha i getcha //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

looks liek jason is gettin his own equipment for this test. i might send over an md2 to him to see what its capable of vs the rest of these bad boys.

Man, we really need to change the web site. The 2000W number was a figure of speech, not a limit. I'll be glad to test the amps for you guys.

I have two (large) power supplies: a 20V 150A unit, and a 15A 440A one. This means that I can't test the amps at 18V at max power, but I should be able to see if they have a problem running that high.

On the subject of bias, I'm pretty good friends with both Nick and Josh from IA. We shared a booth at Finals the year before last. I spent some time talking with USAmps about infinitely strappable amplifiers that use technology we've been working on, but nothing really came of it. I would like to say that I have no bias, but it's not really up to me to decide.

I *might* be able to bring some equipment to CES, we'd need 440V 3ph power. If anyone in the Las Cruces/El Paso area would like to witness whatever happens, that would be cool too.

So I take it this is K&B Sergey? I also take it you ment 15V 440A? Do you have a 1 ohm resistive load capable of handeling 80A? How much would you charge me to bench both the 20.1 and the 2500D? (Please PM me with that).

Yup, it's me. You're right, it's 15V 440A. I have a 1/2 - 4 ohm high power load, I can get a few odd impdedances as well (0.66, 0.75, 0.8, 1.2, 1.5, etc.) Please keep in mind these are non-inductive loads, very different from a voice coil inside a sub. I won't charge you anything, just send them to me.

You're asking if I have a 1 ohm load that'll handle 80A. That's 6400W RMS. If you meant 80A pk (56.6A RMS), that'll be 3200W RMS, which sounds about right.
