Please Help

My friend has a Kicker CVX dual 4, so he needs a good one channel amp that pushes about 700-800 watts at 2 ohms, what should he get? Can't find any Kicker 600.1's and he wants a Lanzar OPTI1400 but I duno about that. Any suggestions/comments?

i had the alpine mrd605 i think? cant remember exact model number, but it did 600rms at 2ohm, and was pretty good imo. i used it for about 7 months without any problems. check ebay, can be had for $180+shipping.

He wants about a 100-150 more than 600, thanks though, not to mention his car obviously won't run the amp at RMS rated voltage (14.4), it's a stock '06 Mustang V6

The MRD-1005 would be a better choice. What about a nine.1 like in your sig. Set the gains properly and he will have some head room if he wants to upgrade something down the road.
