Or would a Dual 4Ohm be betteR?
Depends on your amp. If it is 1 ohm stable and you plan to only have 1 dvc 2 sub, then get the dvc 2.

If you plan to add another sub, get the dvc 4. When you get another dvc 4, you can wire them both down to 1 ohm.

If you had 2x dvc 2 subs, you could wire to either 2ohm or .5 ohm. I'm guessing you want a 1 ohm load (which seems to be the sweet spot for amps these days). A 2 ohm stable amp putting out the same power as another amp which is 1 ohm stable will cost much more. Similarly, a .5 ohm stable amp will also run you a pretty penny.

All depends on what YOU want to do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

sx is louder than R at rated powers.. but get up to 1100-1400 + rms and many people will say that the R can wang with the sxs no problem.
tommyk did a direct comparo with type r, sx, sexxx, and the sx was quietest in a couple different installs iirc...

BUT regardless... i think he should get a single 15, whether its RL-p, SX, or type R, all will sound pretty decent, all will get pretty loud, and its up to him whether he wants what mix of sq or spl, and how much power he can run with a stock elec.

PS fryman im still waiting for that dollar you owe me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
