Serious question.. power on the HU

Ok.. so the first time i got a HU installed in my car was at best buy =/

The way the dude wired the power wire is so that i have to take my faceplate off every time i want to turn the deck off or else it will stay on.. even with the car off.

My question is how do i find an accessory wire to make it so that the HU will turn off without me having to take it off?

wire the power wire on the back of the headunit to the ignition switched power wire, not the constant.

Uhhh. Not exactly.Head units have red yellow and black. Black should be connected to ground. Yellow should be connected to B+. Red should be igtn. So red is the switched power.

what kind of car only has a constant? it's definately not a newer car.
