I have a job interview in a couple days, now I've had quite a few interviews and failed because of this questions. Give me some help answering it so i know what to say from now on.

"why should we hire you?"

and

"Why do you want to work here?"

Not sure if other people have this problem with these questions, but it leaves me blanked.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif

the reason they are hiring you is because you like working it brings joy into your life //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

shit doesnt matter what u tell them, how would u answer the Qs?

"why should we hire you?"

and

"Why do you want to work here?"
first question: "I feel that I would not only fit in here but I would also enjoy working here. Also after having this interview I am really looking forward to working with you"

second question: "I am very much looking forward to working here. I have been interested in working here for good while now. I want this company to help me and in return for me to become a valued asset to this company"

btw this b/s works 90% of the time especially if you can make this sound like you mean it. I used this to get a job a Sprint a few years ago, on my last day I left with over $4k in phones not including all the extra money Sprint help me make weekly.

Dont be afraid to ask questions back. When I interview people, I EXPECT they ask me some questions. It shows they have a genuine interest . As for the questions they ask you.. Its all standard stuff.

that should help a bit.. Take the seat (figuratively) of the interviewer. Try to figure out what he/she is looking for. Make eye contact but dont stare. Dont fidget or play with your pen while you are speaking. Take notes, ask for better explanation on a couple things the interviewer may have spoke of. Make it a 2 way dialogue, not an interrogation. I dislike interviewing just as much as you dislike being interviewed!

and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!! Have a firm handshake! I made up my mind on one guy within 3 seconds because I crushed his hand like a little girl.

Those are the easy questions if you can't answer those you don't want nor deserve the job...

wait till they ask you.

"Why shouldn't we hire you"

and

"What are your negative qualities?"

you should never ever used something like "I feel that..." or "you should hire me because I am...." stuff along that line as an opener. it makes you seem less confident and there's really no point is saying it as an opener.

thats why i like working in the oilfield. My first interview was on the fly. I basically BSed with the guy about working in the oilfield. He said something like he could tell i was a hard worker lol.

Second interview was just discussing the hire on //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

"you should hire me because I am a hard worker and am qualified to not only work this position but can be an asset to the company in the future when other opportunities arrise.
Don't forget to stroke their dick a little. You should preface that statement with some b.s. along the lines of;

"I want to work for an exciting and innovative organization such as XYZ Corp, where my qualifications and skills will allow me to be an asset not only in this position but also a continued asset to the company in the future when additional opportunities arise."
