series or parallel?

if i have a amp that is stable down to 2 ohms and i have a DVC sub 1.5ohm if i hook them up in series is it gona not be the same sound as parallel? let me know. the sub is a 9518 DD and the amp would be a CF vr4000. let me know

same amount of power...no

you need to run that amp at 3ohms

I highly doubt it will do .75 ohms
