Just go easy with the volume control... when you turn it up and they don't produce anymore bass or distress, you'll know their limit, turn it down.
You don't drive around town with the accelerator stuck to the floor all the time; it's not necessary to have the volume maxed out on the radio either. Just a matter of common sense.

I'll give it a try at 2 ohms and see what happens. I wont turn the gains up much at all so I don't blow them out. I think they can handle it with the gains set right.

Thanks for the help guys, I will let you all know how it works out on tuesday when I get everything installed!
