Semi-decent 10" sub for a (mostly) stock system?

Hi,

I have 2012 Jetta GLI with the stock HU and speakers. Last week, I swapped the fronts for a 6.5" Focal IS165VW (integration) component set that is still being powered by the OEM unit. I know it's not ideal but the SQ actually improved a lot.

Now I need to get some bass presence to go with these nice sounding Focals . I listen to a lot of jazz, fusion and rock mostly. So I am looking at a semi-decent SQL-oriented 10" sub to install on a custom fiberglass (sealed) box of around 1-1.5 cu.ft. that will kick nice and TIGHT on those bass drums but not "boom" around like crazy or make my trunk rattle (much).

I already ordered a Rockford Fosgate PBR500X1 mono amp (looking to tap the fronts or rears) so I am leaning towards a 4-ohm DVC sub, or if possible, even a 2-ohm DVC to make the most out of this little RF amp. I am limited to a sub that can be easily bough on eBay or Amazon since I'll need to have it shipped to Mexico, so no custom or boutique subs please.

Any 10" SQL-oriented (2 or 4ohm DVC) MAINSTREAM sub recommendations for a 1 cu-ft custom fiberglass sealed box?

A Focal sub would be a nice addition

This^^^ what he said. Vertexaudio.com has a nice used PhD 10 that would also work well.
