Your better off without that shit. just be paitent and buy a GOOD car with cash paid in full.
I agree guys 100%.. BUT... I have had this suburban and diamante on craigslist, auto trader , local paper, internet listings, and on a extremely busy street that gets about 20,000 cars a day passing by it , and still NO bites... So Im thinking the only way to clean my hands of the Diamante is to trade it in.. And if they give me a good deal on the Burb, trade that in as well.. hell who knows.. I might get 10K towards them both... Even going by LOW book...THIS. why pay for a car every month when you can have one paid off and you can put the db's in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
As a GM owner and one who owned a '99 Silverado until last year when the ****** blew (235K miles), TRUST ME when I say, a truck/car loan payment would be preferable to the maintenance costs as the vehicle gets older. Sure, you are not paying every month, but when the maintenance costs do hit, they tend to hit B-I-G. When those costs are divided by 12, you will wish you had a loan payment and the thing was under warranty. $1,800 for a rebuilt rear diff and axle, $900 for a rebuilt front diff, $300-$400 for new fuel pump (replaced 3 times), new alternator (stock, OEM died), new water pump, various suspension parts that just rust and fall off over time, new rear leaf springs, tires, tires, tires, etc., etc., etc. It adds up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifTHIS. why pay for a car every month when you can have one paid off and you can put the db's in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
Hey, we were trying to sell a 2003 Mercedes convertible in very good condition 3 years ago with 60K miles on it and couldn't get people to bite...so it doesn't surprise me about the Suburban. No one wants to deal with the maintenance and the GAS that thing is gonna need. Economy is suckier now than it was 3 years ago too.I agree guys 100%.. BUT... NO I dont want a car payment , but I didnt want a mortgage either.. I guess sometimes you just do what you gotta do, to get by... If i DONT buy from a dealer, then I have 2 nice vehicles sitting in my driveway depreciating

And ANY car depreciates rapidly once you drive it off the lot.
