Actually I have no problems with any other sites; CACO, DIYMA, SMD, SSA, and now MAF but if the sites wants to be taken serious then some of the members, such as the OP, need to keep the BS separate. You don't see any of the other forums going to other places saying nana nana boo boo we're better than you. That's my personal view anyway.

The issue is when we have members using this forum as a marketing tool with out being a vendor. I know you are far smarter then you are leading on here and you are just trying to push buttons to get a reaction.

When members create threads to only post a link to another forum to gain a member base or other reason this is indeed, marketing. This requires the need for a vendor account per the rules is all.

I'm sure Goob would not object to allowing MAF to have a vendor account if they want one, however, the last time a forum tried to be a vendor it ended with their removal.

My issue here is based on my current infraction, and with WD in particular. If you take a look at infraction, and view my original post that has been deleted, what I said when I quoted you will make more sense. I agree those threads created for that sole purpose does indeed qualify as advertising, however I mentioned it completely nonchalantly, as many have, including yourself, in this thread alone.

I'm pretty sure MAF will never request a vendor account here, for a couple reasons which I do not want to start an argument about.

Dome's been ****** for about five years or so. Everyone was run off with insane mods and new sponsor approved rules. I see none of that has changed.
