silicone is always a good idea, even if its not technically needed. screws every four inches is a good tip, straight cuts are nESSICARY (and sometimes hard), corner clamps are a **** good tool if you can get some, a jigsaw for the speaker hole (or a plunge router and jig if you got one is a better way to go), if you dont have a plunge router, get a piece of cardboard (this is for tracing the circle) and draw a line the RAIDUS of the MOUNTING DEPTH of the speaker on it - one end screw into the CETNER of where your speaker will be, the other, poke a hole and use it as a compass to draw the cricle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

um... the top and bottom of the box are always the entire width, and entire length of the box.... two opposite sides are always overlapping the other two sides.... and if you port, i always buld the "port+baffle" section seperate, then connect to the box.
