i've used the edead v.3 and just got 5 gallons of sludge, and the sludge looks to be much thicker then v.3.

Alright, well if you need some certifiable interest I will be purchasing a 5-gallon bucket o' Sludge when the GD takes effect.

My sources have told me to only go for Dynamat Extreme or SS Damplifier Pro... When I asked about eDead and other such stuff, they laughed a little and then said it was the "cheap stuff". My IASCA pal actually pointed out that eDead and Raamat and a lot of the other lower end stuff was actually the same stuff from the same supplier... [conspiracy!] He then told me that the spray on stuff was very much worth avoiding. So here is how I see it... if my friends won't put this stuff in their car, I won't either.
Ant, while being a nice guy, would probably concur. We really are getting this stuff at nearly dealer prices/at cost.

THe only thing I would diagree with on this one is to avoid the liquid damper. I tused to be that liquid dampers were junk. mostly because of the cheap product dynamat put out there). things have changed though. WHen applied in equal thicknesses to foil backed constratin layer dampers, our liquid products, are lighter, cheaper and will dampen more vibration and a lot more noise. completely better products.

I have not yet read this entire thread so I may be repeting something that has alread been said, but the B-stock products are included in this sale, and in most cases we run out of B-stock and replace the sale with A-stock at no cost to the customer.

In all honesty fellas, this is ANT's passion. He knows more about dampening products than anyone I've even heard of. He's an amazing guy with amazing products. I've dealt with him on more than one occasion. I'll try to get in on this GB...if they money is around at the time.

As for comparisons to other companie's products...I believe in Second Skin all the way. And is more knowledgeable about his products than any other place, and this is HIS COMPANY and that's the SOLE PURPOSE of his company...dampening. Think of the other places, they just sell it to make more money as a side product...dampening is NOT their reason for business...it's Subwoofers and Speakers. Like stated before, most buy generic stuff from a supplier, and re-sell. So, ANT is more knowledgeable and is truely involved in his products. The SOLE purpose of his business existing is dampening products. They're not generic, and just because an item is "thicker" does not mean it's better. I've never seen ANT put another product down...but hopefully he can add more facts and stick up for his great products.

That being said, Ant mentioned to me that his standard damplifier is probably better than the other lower end stuff out there and compares favorably w/ just about anything else. (except perhaps dynamat extreme, which is bested of course by damp pro) I wish he would talk more about his product, but the fact that he has a product that's thinner and just as good or better than the competition using only butyl (and no asphalt) says miles about his product.

He told me that he could've done the same thing, buy some a supplier, market the stuff really cheap, but he wasn't comfortable doing that. He knows the competitors, he knows the suppliers... yet he chooses to sell stuff thats a little more pricey for great results.

I had some questrions about the SLUDGE, so I called Ant...didn't leave a message and he still called me back!!!!!!! Let me say that he is 110% devoted to his customers. He answered ALL of my questions ad then some. I just noticed that the originalo thread mentions free shipping. I wanted to clear this up and say that the customers will in fact pay shipping. We can not offer free shipping on the group buy.
