second guessing my sub box

With that amount of power it probably won't be an issue, but to be safe you can pick up some rubber washers for your mounting screws (use them on both sides of the mounting feet) and a thin sheet of foam/neoprene (at a craft store or Walmart) to put under the amp itself. Doing that will effectively decouple you amp from the enclosure and it'll be fine.
