heres the situation

my great yellow top battery just experienced sudden death at the mall parking lot while i was at the movies.

it just died and stopped charging at all.

so i went and got an interstate battery

i have a compustar RS alarm and it shares main power with RS so the tiny backup battery is out of question

it has to have enough cranking amps to start the car(94 integra)

but id like for it to be as small as possible.

it will power my alarm and audio so i dont have to run a 4 GA to the amps and back to the front from the battery.

and if its possible id like to have some kind of safety circuit that would cut the secondary battery off when the voltage drops below certain point while car is parked.

so in case i leave the lights on or someone tries to short out the system while breaking in the secondary batery would be cut off and have enough charge to start the car
