Not at all. At least, not until electrons learn to read. ;-)If someone was to run 2 different AGM batts, would that hurt them at all? Say, a Kinetik 600 and a stock AGM batt (Mopar, I think).

Haha, I gotcha. Thanks man!Not at all. At least, not until electrons learn to read. ;-)
not true, when the car runs the alt supplies power when the bass hits and the alt cannot give enough juice, it pulls from the battery, when you parallel batteries the car sees it as one big battery. the extra battery will not raise your voltage it will keep you bassing longer. If you want a higer voltage then you need an HO alt.I believe it handicaps the more powerful battery, if you run a weaker battery in parallel.... or it overcharges the weak one... messes with the voltage regulater or something... lol idk, I just know its frowned upon
I agree, the only time you need isolator is if you bass out with the engine off, which no true basshead doesIf you have it, run it. It won't damage anything t run wet batteries with dry. The only thing that will happen is that the wet battery will rob the float charge of the AGM when they're not in use. And were talking about a few tenths of a volt here so it's not like the wet battery is going to discharge the AGM.
You also don't need an isolator but, I would plan to upgrade the start battery when you can. And you might want to upgrade the alternator too, as it's a bit small for the power you're running.
Well I gt the hc1800 under the hood now. Had to do. Lil cutting to to fit but it's there. I can tell a difference in the voltage just from adding it up front. I have another hc600b on the way to add to the one in back and I should be ok. Basically a 120 ah battery for no more than 2400 rms. And I dont play full tilt for long periods either. Also, if you're not made of money and you're not chasing tenths in the lanes, 100AH marine batteries can be had for ~$100.00 and three of them will provide a LOT of current for not a lot of dough.
