i was running my stock alt, it was in an 06 silverado 1500 extended cab

that would be badass, i just need to get some cash saved for the mechman alt ive been wanting. im glad we have found an awsome, quality, trustworthy alternator company to do business with. once i get that i should be good to go. lookin to break the 150 club.

by readin others setups and comparin it to yours, i dont think the 150 will be a problem. im pretty sure im hittin at least a 150 but then again im runnin 4 15 L7s in a ported box so i guess i should be. when it comes to the alts, ive heard some good on mechman also. i got mine on ebay for 150 shipped new with a one year warranty, 200 amp. i had it tested and it puts out 196 amps at 2500 rpms. not bad at all for the price, its just i gotta see 2500 rpms to get the max output.....anyway though, nice setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ------Rob

honestly, i have no frickin idea what brand it is. ive learned a lot since i purchased it, but still i had it tested and it did 196 amps at 2500 so not too bad for 150 shipped
