Ok i have a yellow top and have done the big 3 but I still need more power. My lights are basically strobe lights when i listen to some trivium. I need to add a second battery in the back so how do I do this? Do I just connect both my batteries at the positive terminal , then ground both of them or what? Do i need to mess with the big 3?

How old is the original Yellow that you already have? If it is over year old, you might want to consider buying 2 new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries is not a good thing to do.

Yea the dimming is awful. If I have the heat on then I can hardly listen to music. Either my alt. is shot or I have a loose ground. I just need to check it. My yellow top is 2 months old. But in the event that I will need to wire up another batt. How do i do it?

It uses the ground from the front battery terminal where you hookup the wire for it. It's like plugging a battery together making the two of them one by hooking the postive to the back batttery and the negative to the back battery from the first one you don't ground it to the car it's ground to the car from the first battery.
