my door has a big hole in it where the window opening mechanism sits; and it kind of hangs out which makes it a little more difficult to seal up completely. You can see it circled in this picture:

ive sealed up the other holes well, but im wondering if a layer of luxury liner over the hole (it would actually be covering the whole door) would be adequate for covering this up?

thats an s10/blazer door, all you is just take a big sheeet of damp pro and put it over it.... it really doesnt move that much, the tension spring is the only thing that moves but its a very small amount of motion. so you should be fine

Well i don't have any deadener left now, so would luxury liner cut it?

i didn't think that deadener by itself was supposed to be stretched over holes like that because its not rigid enough.

Many of our customer use Damplifier Pro on the metal skin, the cover up the access holes with Luxury Liner Pro.

This ia na awesome way to block the unwanted noise and create a more consistent environment for the door speakers to perform in.

Some people will use plexiglass, fiberglass, or sheet metal to seal up the holes. I think that is a bit much my self..

LLP would be awesome!

When y'all seal your doors, do u just pray that nothing goes wrong with the door afterwards? I've had to replace both window tracks in my car and it'd been an absoulte nightmare to do it if i had dynamat covering everything.
