sealed or vented

hello, quick question. I am in the process of installing a new stereo in my new truck. I have two 8" kicker L5's. I know there are just 8", but I want to know everyone's different opinions are on enclosure types(sealed or vented). I know 8" subs will not produce like 12's or 15's, But I want to build a box that will give me the best quality sound possible with what I have. I will have plenty of power running to them, but space is a little bit of an issue. Your feed back will be greatly appreciated. THX

well right off the bat the L5 is not a good sub to go with for SQ. Any of the square subs by kicker were really made for SPL. You can go ahead and do what ever type of box you want with it but I would recomend ported
