was going to go with a 5cf sealed box for two Mag 15's, but after doing some measurements it looks like i will only be able to fit around 4.64cf for both Mag 15's. My question is will there be a noticeable difference of 4.64cf and 5 cf?? will i need to stuff the box with 4 pounds of polyfil(4.64cf)?

shouldn't be much difference at all, doubt it would even be audible. Try with and w/o polyfil...then choose which one you like more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

Measurements are internal, not external..correct? That would put em about 2.1 net iirc thats right around what SI recommends.

J/W what amp you running?

i'll be running a kicker zx1500.1(1700+ at 2ohms). I guess will play them without polyfill for a week and then try it with polyfill and see if i notice a difference.

polyfill is cheap anyways, right? Thanks for the help guys

no experience with the new drivers but i was one of the first to own a 1st generation Mag D2 15 and i put it in a 2cf sealed box like SI advised... terrible. no low end from this monster sub, it was a huge midbass. i felt my previous 12" setups hit lower. so that box was out in no time and in went a 3cf box and ****... probably my favorite sub setup in my car to date. i miss that sub...
