Just cant do it

So ive been watching an ebay auction for a single type r for a while and i go to place my bid and i stop. i cant get myself to buy it SImply for the fact that im not quite sure its the best decision. I have the money to go with a Type X but i dont know the diff. I also like the kicker series. The new solarboric looks nice. anyone have any advice so i can finally just go through with my decision and finally have some bump in my trunk, I havent a box nor an amp so they dont play part in the picture.

tryp R, budget street beater. Type X, SQ

only advice i have is SEARCH since you question is only what would work best for you. search the woofers you ahve on your mind and see what others say are pros/cons of them.

ur gonna get a ton of spl with the kicker, my friend has 2 and they sound alright, but they are LOUD

my old type-r sounded pretty good but it wasnt as bassy, but it cost me less

give either a good box and plenty of power and youll be in business

Type R's make a nice all around sub. When sealed, i was impressed with the SQ, when ported, SPL. I don't thnk you can go wrong with an R for a first sub, if the price is right.

Surf the classified section here, THERE ARE TONS of subs that are for sale all the time. Say you want a 12" and say what you want it to do in the WTB section, and someone might hook you up!!!!
