Sealed L7?????

ok, right now i have a shitty pre fab box for my one L7 12. it is 2.5 cubes (1.77 after sub and port) tuned to 43 hz...I like all types of music, mostly hard rock and rap...i like my loud deep bass but this box is shit...i was thinking about adding another L7 in a 6 cube (after sub/port) tuned to 32 hz but the more i think about it i think i will mess with my rock music...

what i want to know is how much output will i loose from the box i have now if i make a GOOD sealed box....

why not try to lower your tuning in a slightly bigger box. you will have a less peaky response which is always a good thing in daily.

I talked with a guy at our local shop and he said since i like more rock than rap and only put rap in to show/ cruz....he could help me make a box for my one 12". he was talking about tuning it lower and making it a bit larger.....

He also told me if i go to two 12's, my hope for any SQ is about out the window...he said it would be loud as hell but for rock....not so good...is this true????

I guss what i want to know is since i lisen to more rock (but still like my loud deep bass) should i just make a new box for my one 12 i have now or go with two 12's....

Sounds like your wanting more of a SQL setup. I would go a dif. route than L7's, but thats my opinion.

Get a better tuned / larger box. It will sound better, and won't drown out your rock music like another L7 will do. Adding another will just make it so **** loud, more than likely.

i think another 12 will **** up any hope of a SQL system

I know L7's are not known for their SQ but i got sub, box, amp and a 6F cap for about $400....my buddy hooked me up

i got grate sql with 2 12's BUT I ALSO HAVE NO TRUNK SPASE 5CUFT in a 240sx ! Max trunk space is 6cuft SUCKS !!

what kind of music do you like....i mostly like hevy rock....it has lots of deep bass but i also like to hear the rest of the music too
