Sealed Enclosure

So im too impatient on getting my prints for a ported design so im going to slap together a sealed enclosure for the time being. Ive got some questions regarding the sealed box that will be temporary.

1.) Sub Placement, i will have to use Sub facing upwards due to its size, does it matter if its centered, left / right side of the box?

2.) Is using a sealed box thats approximately 34w x 20d x 16h too big? Is there any disadvantage / advantage to larger / smaller sealed enclosures?

Kicker says 1.5 - 6 cubes for sealed. It will house a 15" L7 going in the trunk of an 09' Fusion SEL.

thanks

1.It wont matter where you place the sub in the box (left/right)

2. You have to build a box that is the correct for the sub you have, if the kicker wants 1.5 cu/ft , then give it that.

The dimensions you gave bring up about 5 cu/ft, yeah way too big. (if using inches)
