If the sub aint 100% sealed like air tight leaks a little will that cause any problems at all? Sound wise SQ loudness ?

particle board work at all or do you need MDF just making a sub spacer.

mdf > particle board, particle board will break if you're using it to screw the sub into.

I resealed everything. The sub goes down comes up kind of quick then comes up slow for a lil. Should be ok I guess. Any tests todo to make sure its air tight?

play a really loud song with loud bass. visually you shouldnt hear any noise comin from the sub except bass. tactiley (haha i just made that word up) feel around the box and sub gasket before youcarpet it andfeel for air leaks.

When you push down the cone it shouldnt really come up just really really slow right?

you shouldn't push down on the cone, I've always heard that was bad to do.

But I don't think it should come up really really slow, I think it should just come back up.
