sealed box question

do you get more spl with more or less volume to your sealed enclosure?

I have heard from some unreliable sources that it is better to have a smaller volume for louder sealed enclosures..... also if you know anyone to build a few boxes i need two boxes for dual 15's each without the front face speaker cut out put on.....just 5 out of six sides...

yep, with a smaller box, you lose some low end but you get a peak so yes, its louder

thanks i am going for louder but ported is really not an option i have 4-15 and the area is small as it is, and i want to see out the back window....now i need two boxes built any help.....

same idea as a regular ported box, except one speaker is mounted facing the other somewhat in a "push, pull" relationship. No real benefit, except in this case, space saving.
