sealed box question for e12k

i have ordered an elemental designs e12k dual 4 ohm. i'm using an alpine mrd-m500 mono amplifier to power it. wired in parallel to 2ohms it'll be pushing the sub w/ 500 watts. ed recommends a 1 cubic foot sealed enclosure for this subwoofer. what difference would a 1.1 cubic foot or a .9 cubic foot sealed enclosure make?

not much at all...it would not be a real audible difference. I'd go with 1 cube sealed after displacement. If needed...check out http://www.gnomeaudio.com for great prices on custom boxes...much better than any pre-fab. peace
