I just purchased an Idmax 10d4v3 sub and it will be powered by a JL Audio 500/1v2. I already have a box from my previous install that has .85 cu ft of air space and is 3/4 mdf all around. I can get a box that is 1.25 cu ft and is 3/4 mdf all around except for the baffle which is 1.5 mdf for pretty cheap. Which would be the better option for this sub? Both boxes air space is not including the sub displacement. Would it be better to use the bigger one that has the thicker baffle? I mainly listen to rap and rock music. Thanks
