Port Question for my new box...

I built a nice temp box for my Obsidian 18... Very temporary, especially after I only got a 138.5 @44 out of it with mic on the dash and driver door open... Anyway, new box time! Box now is 4.9 cubes before displacement, 6 inch PVC port @11 inches long

Before sub displacement, I've got it set up to be about 5.35 cubes. So after displacement, it's 5.10 cubes...

Not sure on what width I should do for the port... I planned it out with a 4 inch wide port and it ends up at 21.6 inches long at 31hz... I feel like this will just be too much port area for 5 cubes. I'm new to box building! Really unhappy with my SPL score and trying to make a hell of a nice box now that will at least get me into the 140's... Hoping for a 142+ at this point. What size port should I do?

I was thinking about it... It'd use less box space. I kind of just wanted to try and do a slot port to give it a try.

And the fact a PVC port isn't much different than a slot port since I have no flares.

slot port will make your box smaller..but would prob be better.
