what should i do?
i am installing my MBQ Premium comps, and i dont know if i should seal them in an enclosure or just throw them in the "sortof" sealed door. Right now, my front door comps are done. they are sealed in a very small enclosure in the door. the enclosure is made from Fatmat and the woofers' magnets are up against the rear of the enclosure. I not happy with the mids though.
ive heard that MBQ comps lack in the lower frequencies, but this is baaad. they have hardly any midbass. do you think its cause i enclosed them? or cause the enclosure is very small? or cause MBQ just simply lacks midbass?
i was told to cut a hole in the back of the enclosure so that the entire door will act as a sortof enclosure. its mostly sealed with the fatmat, but there are some significant openings. so what do you think i should do? thanx
