not quite a good compairison. You can only move so much current thru FET's. Physically there is a limit (which is why you have amps with 40+ FET's in them.) Plus their board isnt reallly a radical design or anything, everything is layed out pretty normal consistant with most higher end amps on the market.
If someone wants to name off the FET part numbers off the board, then we could just go to a site like Digikey and see what they are actually capable of. I'm sorry, there is no magic power supply or some shit, parts are parts.

What about a High Voltage Class D design versus the High Current class D designs that you are accustomed to seeing? I believe that is what we are dealing with when it comes to MMATS, SD, and Stetsom. 200 volt 90 amp transistors are no joke I would hate to see how high the internal voltage is stepped up to create power. I would also venture to say that messing around with the internals while this bad boy is powered up could be leathal

I was skeptical about amps of that size as well...Until I seen some testing done with the RD Audio D9 -vs- RD Audio 7500.1

The D9 is like half the size... But is more efficient and when dropped below 1 ohm and given some power...it surpasses the 7500.1

I am willing to give these amps a try if I can see some american standard testing...
