I waited almost 2 months to get my 300/4 back, I get it back last night, hook it up and it ain't fixed!! I haven't been able to call JL yet, but I'm see if they can compensate me which I doubt.

I hate to say this but I have been working with JL audio for 4 years and have yet to have a amp that comes back from them unfixed. Sounds like you have a freak case or the problem isnt the amplifier.

Dunno, I had a cheap $80 SPL amp running my speakers temporaly and it worked fine, went and hooked up the JL and it happened.

voice coils locked up by how? just hookin it up? or cranking the gains/etc on the amp to cause that.
