Scosche Wiring kit from wal mart?

I've also seen those kits. I'm about to get a wiring kit, should I use the Scosche wiring kit and save me some money or go with the Stinger thats more expensive? Would I be losing any power by going with the Scosche?

I recently purchased the $25.00 kit from walmart. It comes with (i think) 14 ft of 4ga, wtf Ill need more then that for the grounds. Why does it even come with 8ga?

You are wrong once again. It is 4ga.

This kit is good. I use it to power 2 12" L7s and a beast of an amp, it works just fine.

You will need more than 14 feet? What you are supposed to do is run the 4ga to the distro, then 8's to your amp, and run 8's for ground.

thats the only reason why i didnt do another scoche kit was because there wasnt enough 4ga...

damm 14ft sux. i have 16ft and if it was 1inch shorter, itd be too short. mines in a halfcab truck too so its not a long run, so iono how u people with regular cars do it.

thats crazy talk, ur wasting too much wire. i run it through the seats. some passengers say its uncomfortable, but i say function over form.

Gotta realize that these Walmart 4 awg kits come in two types, 1 for multiple amps, and another for a single amp. Obviously, the one for multiple amps is the one with a d-block and multiple 8 awg's, (hence the two set of RCA's that came with the kit). You can always double those up for a single amp or go out and get 2 feet of 4 awg wire.

Wrong kit. There's another kit similar and it uses 4awg.
