Scosche wire harness installation help!

I have a 2008 Chrysler Sebring and needed help with the three main wires. (BLACK/YELLOW/RED).

Now, I know the black goes with black and yellow with yellow. But the seperate red wire confuses me. Where does the red wire connect to? The battery or the fuse box????

the red wire needs to be connected to your ignition or an accessory that only comes one when your ignition is on.

the yellow goes to battery on always for memory on the deck and for the internal amp as a buffer, the red is switched ignition and black is ground.

Your harness does not have switched power at the harness, they give you that to tap a fuse with ACC power and wire it that way. Blue or dark blue with red stripe at the ignition harness should be ACC as well.

hook the red to a fused circuit in the box or somewhere behind the radio but it has to be switched or your radio will work with the key off.
