scosche amp at 2 ohms?

my friends bought a scosche amp from wal mart to power a kicker comp, and it is a 4 ohm dvc, and i was wondering if scosche amps a stable at 2 ohms, cause it doesent have a rating at 2 ohms on the specs?

you could try it but i doubt it will hold up. Turn the gains down and bass boost down and test it... If it seems to get excesivly hot or go into protect mode then u found ur answer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Typically all class a/b car amps are 2ohm stereo stable (not bridged 2ohm), there is some really cheap amps out there that are not 2ohm stereo stable but they are very, very, very low quality.

it isnt in any of those pics, the amp just says scosche on it, see my friend bought the amp without askin me about it and then we bout the 4 ohm subs, and all i can do is wire down to 2 ohms, or up to 8 ohms and i dont want to do that, so should i just wire down to 2 ohms and see how it goes?
