134db box at 29hz. Maybe i could push some more but excursion is getting ridiculous.... and probably dangerous.

ah. ok. Maybe my subs just cant go the low. I tuned my box 3.75 cubes to 26.5 and it gets low. but metered 142@39 Maybe need bigger box.

 
Tuning and peak are two different things.With a peak of 39hz your tuning is around 29-30hz.
I made the box on Re's site. it should be3.75 cubes, 26.5 after displacement with 56 sq in port area. I dont have exact measurements but If interested I can post them later after work.

What I'm trying to say is your box is tuned in the upper 20's like you wanted.But the peak is at 39hz in your car.

Tuning a box refers to the bandwidth your are trying to achieve not the peak freq.

ok. I got it. I actually like low tuned boxes because it seems that the sub sounds more natural and able to produce most low freq tones. I may add some 8's and put them on the rear deck or rear passenger panels. I listen to alot of low bass tracks. Power supply, Bass mekanic ect... so I am trying to get the full force of these songs. I am open to suggestions. PM me .
