Hey, thanks. I am worried about scammers, too, and after i get no confirmation saying you have received the money or anything like that, i get a little worried. I have excellent references also, and i am not a little punk.

You didn't communicate well, and i keep having to ask if it went through, etc. Everyone is a little nervous about scammers at this point, myself included, especially after this whole thing with that guy named satan. I am not a scammer, how can i be if i sent you money??? I wouldn't be a very bright scammer if i did.

I have bought many things with paypal before, including guitars that make this car stereo stuff look like nothing. My cash was in the account, i did not use my credit card, etc, and i have never had anyone say it had to clear. I don't remember threatining or anything like that.

Ask my references, flakko was excellent at communicating, and sent me things asap with no problems.

Alphakenny1 sent me an infinity amp, no problems, great communicator.

dleccord, sent me an alpine amp, great guy no problems.

i sold a sub to fosgate140, and he spoke very highly of me in the feedback section.

bought an amp from woodmister, no problems.

Ask any of them. Sorry this has gone so poorly, and if i have annoyed you. I am just trying to cover my butt just like everyone else. Just please send it out so we can be done with this and let it go. Thank you.

If it is a direct transfer of funds from the checking/savings account attached to your PayPal account then the transfer (and availability) of the money is instant just as it is if the transfer is funded by a credit/debit card.

It is only an eCheck that requires clearance of funds before the seller gets paid //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

so regular paypal is good right off the bat, right?

Correct. If it is a direct withdrawal of funds from whatever account is attached to your PayPal then the seller gets paid immediately (by this I mean has and can access to be able to spend said funds instantly if they like)

A transfer funded by a credit card is the same way. A transfer funded by a debit card, obviously, is the same as it is the same as a direct account funds transfer only routed thrrough the debit card (for those who do NOT have credit cards this is the safest method as you add the fraud protection of Visa or MasterCard....whichever your financial institution uses for their debit cards).

The only PayPal payment method that has any kind of delay for the seller getting their money is an eCheck.

I have to amend what I posted earlier ~ the immediate funds availability is based on what kind of PayPal account a person has. I have a Premier account complete with the PayPal debit card (1.5% money back on all purchases FTW!) so if there is $$$ in my PayPal account I can access and spend it immediately.

Without that type of account and its associated card a seller will have to wait until the funds get transferred to their bank account before they can access the funds but in my personal opinion a seller should not penalize a buyer by making them wait until that transfer takes place before shipping an item out. Waiting until the funds are actually in your PayPal account (such as in the case of being paid via an eCheck) is well within reason but waiting until those funds are transferred to a bank account, IMO, is less than reasonable.

Just my $0.02.
