no 43hz the fact you think I meant changing the tuning in your box just proves it is far from optimal. SO far this entire thread has been a how can I band aid my stereo instead of doing it right. Do it correctly, improve air flow to cabin, use a box that is coupled to your cabin gain and 1/4 wave, get the electrical where it needs to be, and then worry about more power and different subs.

I know Kickers are power hungry amps, but I do think you should focus on upgrading electrical... The Sundowns are more efficient, and you may gain a little, but regardless, power upgrades will be much more beneficial.

i can support 2500 just fine. I only charge at 13.8-14.0. I dont have much of a drop, if I do it dont stay down for long.

What I think you guys are not understanding. A small power upgrade will not come out of my pocket. Trying a new box would, and this is my 4th and best one so far, Try fitting a better box in my hatch. 5 cubes is ALL I have. Subs up port back has the best SQ that I do want to keep. A larger alternator will be $500 minimum and it will oinly increase 50 amps at 2000 rpm. maybe 10 at idle. A battery upgrade would be about $300. So a power upgrade IS my cheapest option to atleast get to 144 at the headrest. And a 124 DB2 score. Which is pretty **** good for DB2

Where did I say its stressed? And it will be more then 300 rms. Those SAZ-1500s clamp close to 2K at 12v and over 1ohm. If my 2 hold true is will be close to a 1K gain. That would be a 3/4 + db gain.

I would like to see a Okur gut shot, I havent found one online.

Its fine now. I can run full tilt for a LONG time and it dont get warm at all. I might add a ground from the front later on. The amps are scoped also so that helps keep heat down. I have the good stuff not the CCA crap everybody pushes

your dropping, means stressed. but go a head, waste time and energy swapping amps don't listen to some one killing your score with 1700rms and 200 dollar subs.

300 amp underrated cable isnt enough for 300 amps MAX draw with the battery bank taking the brunt. And Winn, my meter is off the alternator the rear bank dont drop unless I push it at idle for 10 minutes.

Stinger is rated at 300 amps. I have put my cable side by side, it has almost 50% surface area.
