The AQ3500.1D is similar to the SAZ-3500D in actual power output.

The SAZ-4500D is a good bit more powerful than either.

Id go w/ the saz-4500, Sundown has never let me down. As far as electrical, h/o alt, big 3, 2 runs of 1/0 and about 280ah worth of batts in your rear bank and a solid 60-80ah under the hood would be ideal

No comparison here. Even with the 3500 vs 3500 the sundown will still win, but for the price of the AQ 3500 brand new its a hell of a deal.

Yeah so now I guess its what price I want to pay! The thing is alot of people have told me that the difference might be seen on the TL but not for daily driving? Any truth to that cause the price difference is huge

friends truck on sunday. both are great amps, sundown has more power though.

this is a retarded comparison. are you seriously comparing a 4500 and a 3500? if you compare the SD3500 to the AQ3500.1 then it would be close enough to not matter depending on price.

Is it really though? On each of there sites they have about the same power at 1 ohm SD(4500) and AQ(4300) so im trying to figure out what each puts out at 14-14.4volts and if one will sound noticeably louder and electrical upgrade differences thats all

Sundown will do 4500 @ 1 ohm at 12 volts. You need 14.4 volts.

If you wanted to get 4K out of the AQ @ 14.4 volts then you need enough electrical to hold 14.4 which means you need 7-8 big batts and a new alternator.

i prefer the saz4500

ho alt 200 amp

good under hood battery , with matching rear bank of 2-3 more , of either of these for example (deka, kinetic, stinger, powermaster, shuriken)

big 3 in 0 awg

2 runs of power & 2 runs of ground from front batt to rear bank

then on to amp

would be a fairly stable set up for one

with car running of course

and add a mid and high amp as well you could also mooch of the above electrical as usually 100 amps of constant draw for that on full tilt
