SAZ-4500D vs Audioque 3500.1

Im trying to decide between these two amps just trying to hear what everyone has to say about the 2. Ive done my research and both seem like great amps and come from great companys with great customer service. Which ever I choose will probably be powering 2 HDC3's(possibly BTL's) at 1 ohm daily. I think AQ is 4300 at 1 ohm and SAZ is 4500 but are those both at 12 volts? Also what how would the electrical needs difer between the two amps?

The saz will be more powerful. Personally if the price difference is negligible, I would run the SAZ. Electrical needs will be the same.....lots. I would say a good alt and 2 group 31 batts would be a nice start. I would do 4 runs of 1/0.

the sundown will outpower the AQ, and i would go with a big alt and 2 big rear batts if i was running that much power

on top of an obvious big 3 and possibly 2 runs of 1/0 front to back

Im sure that SAZ does closer to 5k, and I doubt that the aq does 4300...AQ makes solid amps, but i dont know that they underrate them to the extent that some companies do (i.e. sundown)...That said, both are great amps and both require quite a bit of upgrade, including alternater, probley 2 runs of 0ga etc

If comparing is what you want...

It would be a closer comparison if you were trying to choose between both of the offering from SD & AQ which is there 3.5kw boards, in which time I will take the Sundown.

Another question I have because of the huge difference in price, For something that wont be metered, just a daily driver will the be a noticeable difference in loudness?

Yes it would be noticable........almost 1000w difference is a lot.

Yes it would be noticable........almost 1000w difference is a lot.

The SAZ is going to be better but a lot more expensive. The 3500d.1s are sweet amps for the money.
