My good buddy is a RF dealer and has a few shops in the state and that sell RFs left and right. He is in good contact with the owners of RF and they always send him the newest cool things and specially modded amps. They didn't stop making the T3000s due to issues, he said the T30001bd were doing well over 4000wrms so they just turned it into the T40001 he said they have almost the identical internals they just made some very slight changes. Did you get your info from a reliable source?

I also know a few people, some reps and dealers of RF and thats what they have told me. I also know a few local competitors that had problems with them as well. I havnt heard to many bad things on the t4000's except there a power hungry amp.

Stetsom 7k vs Sundown 3000, Not a knock on the Sundown at all, but I would have to go with the Stetsom if power was the only factor. I think these amps do more with less (power) than a lot of amps out there

sometimes I wonder why u guys are so hooked on sundown. Like no offense Jacob is an awesome guy and makes killer products I already have a saz-1500 and would buy another one anyday but even he recomended the RF or 40.1 to me, for this application it would work best. Now that is an honest man and I know I will do business with him again for sure. I feel like im asking this question to a class of third graders who just like what they know as the best. Thanks Jacob and 02parkave for giving me a good honest answers and actually having supporting facts which is something that I've been looking for. Thanks again all and I hope to bring you guys an awesome build log when it gets started.

I have a 3000d and a 1500d.

Ask lilmaniac what kind of power he was getting out of them he had a bunch.

I would go with the 3000d or the rockford both will work.

no doubt sundowns are under rated but i hear they do 3500wrms at 1ohm or so and the rf does 4500wrms at 1 ohm. The saz 3000 would cost me quite a bit more too. So i think I will be happy with my decision and I thank everyone for helpin as I kind of needed an answer by tonight.
