So I got an saz-1500 and when I was plugging ground in a strand of copper wasnt tucked in and it touched the 12v and it sparked alot and then into protect she went from there on. So I took the casing off and I found no burn marks at all which leaves me stumped since it will not come out of protect since then. Is there a way that it could have fried something and not have any visible burns? It doesnt make sence to me at all. Could any of you amp builders/repairers help out? Thanks.

So theres really no way of knowing without actually sending it in? How much does an individual mosfet cost? I could just pull one of the old ones and solder back on right? Or how would that work
I would NOT mess with it yourself. We have a program where we can replace it for a small fee even for user errors such as this within the warranty period -- it would be $30 for your 1500D within the first two years.
