SAZ 1000d just stopped working.

I really know nothing about these things. I bought the 1000d back in September of 09 used on here.

today it just out of the blue stopped working and I don't even know where to start checking.

I was just driving down the street not playing anywhere close to half volume and it just stopped working. The LED that goes red if anything is wrong is still blue when it is on. All the wires are tight. fuses good

The only other thing than the amp that it could be is that all 4 voice coils of subwoofer blew simultaneously or if the RCA's suddenly went bad. Highly unlikely.

I'm going to go get it out right now and pull the cover off of it just to look.

Maybe there is a giant on/off switch inside turned off. lol (Seinfeld reference)

Swap the amp out with a different working amp before you try to take something apart.

I just opened this thing up. Mind=Blown. I have no idea what I'm loking at but solder looks good and no black marks.

It's working now guys.

When I had it apart I gave a few firm flicks to the relay. it's the first thing you do to a car tha wont start sometimes the relay on the starter gets a little hung up. put it all back together and all is well.

i would unhook ur subs and use a test speaker freeair because if you shorted out a coil in 1 of ur subs could be a problem.

if ur useing a agu fuse holder under the hood they go bad alot so check ur still getting power to ur amp....
