How is everyone making a sealed or ported enclosure in doors??? sounds like a hell of a task. But I will probably try IB first and see how I like it. I am sure they will not let me down.

These are going to go perfect with my system and music I listen to. I have needed a strong midbass for a while to fill in the void upfront. I love my DA Hex comps but since I listen to alot of live recorded concerts(not the type released in stores) I need some strong midbass reproduction.

I was mainly looking for recomendations from anyone who has had experience with this.

I was thinking using these foam baffles I have as a mold for a fiberglass enclosure. Gonna try and see how it works out.

That's what I'm going to do for my Iridiums in my doors. Use those foamies from Crutchfield covered in an epoxy.

those foam cups might get you about the same volume as the displacement of the driver, not nearly enough.

For me, I'm incorporating half the door pocket (it's hard plastic on mine, and will cut in half so I can still store stuff in it) as well as some parts of the door molding to make sure I get about 0.3 cubes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The XXXs, my midbass, will get .5 @ 40hz on my center console/floor. My Iridiums, my midrange, will be the ones with the epoxified (word?) foamies in my doors.
