Say hello to my little friend(s)! XXX

Ported : 8~18 liters, 60Hz. That was one recommendation.

Then I read somewhere else that it should be 40Hz. I'll be using them as a midbass driver, so I don't think it'll be beneficial to port them as low as 40Hz. After all, it's not a sub.

All the way up to 18 liters? That's like 1.1cu! You know the displacement? I'd guess like .05 - .1cu

Im not putting these puppies in the doors, depth is like 4'' . I'm mounting my DLS Iridium 6.2 set in the door. I'm going to make a shoebox sized .3cu sealed box for these to put in front of my center console. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif
Wheres all the fun. My Dayton ref's are 3 5/8 deep and were definatly a challenge to install.

Good luck with some great looking speakers.

I can't wait to get mine in as well. About two weeks and I should have them in hand, I hope. I am also hoping I can fit these massive ****ers in my doors. I can use a 3/4" mdf mounting ring to give me some more depth. hope it fits.

I have a set in my Explorer.... just needed a spacer. IB in the doors.

Scott has a set in his Ranger... Used the front 1/3 of the door as a ported enclosure with a 1.5" port. Tey are in .35ft @ 40hz. OMFG!

Man, NOW I'm tempted to try porting...

decisions, decisions....

Nah, I'll stick to sealed for now.

TeamPSI, stop being lazy and ship it all out already! The wait is killing everyone...
