New 6x9's for a Grand Prix

I want to replace the speakers in my friends car and I would like some suggestions. I have 6.5 round speakers for mine and dont know a whole lot about the 6x9 size. He doesnt listen to music too loud so they just need to sound good at a moderate level. He doesnt want to spend a lot of money on them and he would like the best value. why dont you make a template for that 6x9 and put a 6-1/2 in it?

I would suggest some pioneer 6x9 3-ways, (I am partial to pioneer coaxial spearks)

the only line pioneer has that is even worth looking at is their rev series.

I have a brand new set of DLS 7x10's that fit a 6x9 opening for sale. They come with X-overs and have never been installed. Excellent quality!

I just ordered 6x9 Pioneer TS-D901P 2 way coaxials. They are Pioneer's newest addition to the REV line and the only place I found where they can be bought cheaply is http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14550

They seem to have very good lower frequency response with reasonable sensitivity. I'm using a stock HU and have no sub in my Mazda Protege so they seemed like a good choice for an upgrade with minimal work. They should fit most 6x9 locations.
